For a second year in a row, Philly’s own Lula’s Empanadas will be popping up in the wine garden! When Yaslyn Lora was only 5 years old, she began assisting her mother, Lula, in the kitchen while she cooked empanadas for their large family gatherings. This Dominican tradition is continued through Lula’s Empanadas, with their crispy fried pastry shells and delicious, intriguing fillings — perfect on a late spring day in the garden. And, of course, us being Jet, we will have a wine pairing for each of these bad boys (check out the menu here!).
